Scouring the internet last night I came across this very cool haiku written about SUndae Cafe by blogger Savannah Red in 2009. Enjoy:


February night
Beautiful woman with me
Her tummy, empty.

Pan seared lump crab cakes
Sundae Cafe on Tybee
Shrimp and grits for me.

Lights flickering, oh
Cozy, hearing others lives
Shiny, polished bar.

Wild mushroom demi-glaze
Creole mustard remoulade
Calamari, yes!

Filling up, eat slow
Happy birthday to my wife.
Chocolate at home.

Have been trying since yesterday to contact this establishment by phone. Visited in person last night to make reservations, now need to cancel and cannot contact them by phone. Busy signal, over and over and over again.......:-(((((
